Rosalinda’s career spans film production, writing, television, creative strategy, radio presenting, publishing and advertising. Previously in London, work has taken her to Europe, Africa, the USA, Australia, India and Latin America. Now based in Palma, she first visited Mallorca on a production for actor/producer Michael Douglas.
After graduating from Middlesex University, Rosalinda worked as a graphic designer and art director before moving into film production. A producer, she has nurtured emerging talent and worked with international stars, directors and companies such as Ridley Scott Associates and advertising agency TBWA Chiat Day of Apple fame.
Rosalinda co-founded Britain’s film production bible The Knowledge. Her first foray into using her media skills to change the world for the better, the television series Vision5 was launched at Downing Street by the Rt Hon Gordon Brown. Rosalinda’s productions have been screened at New York’s Museum of Modern Art, the United Nations and other prestigious venues around the world.
Rosalinda has lectured at the University of London on Activist and Alternative Media and on Film and Media at Amity University, India’s largest educational institution.
On Glastonbury Radio, The Rosie Much Show covered the iconic Glastonbury Festival, an interview with human rights activist ex-Guantanamo Bay detainee Moazzam Begg and Earth Jurisprudence, a co-production with Schumacher College, the world’s first educational institution devoted to sustainability.
With a growing interest in sustainability, she has worked with the family of Brazilian rainforest activist Chico Mendes. Currently she is writing for The Ecologist about the Balearic Islands’ bold plan to make the islands a sustainable jewel and example to the world. The Islander magazine’s February issue featured her piece on renegade architect Michael Roberts’s autonomous disaster resistant housing.
Last October Rosalinda launched the first of her literary workshops with Memoir Writing with Allegra Huston, the novelist and scion of the legendary film dynasty at Deia’s Belmond La Residencia. Together they return to Deia this October. Soon Rosalinda will be presenting Literary Journalism with Alex Shoumatoff, author and Vanity Fair contributing editor and Travel Writing with Hugh Thomson, the British writer, television presenter and Latin America specialist.
Her Vision Board Masterclass is the first of Rosalinda’s Empowerment Workshops. Discovering Your Ikigai, based on the Japanese concept that we all have a reason for being, will follow soon.
